Tickets are still available for our inaugural Wine Dinner, taking place Saturday, August 29, from 6–9 PM at our location at 126 Mill Street.

Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Chef René Medina Jiménez is both a visual artist—a graduate of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia—and an accomplished chef with 18 years of professional culinary experience. He is currently the chef and owner of Comedor in Grass Valley.

René’s cooking is guided by the seasons, a sense of place, and ingredients that are grown and cultivated with integrity. His menus bring together vibrant flavors, colors, and textures, reflecting both his Colombian roots and his artistic approach to food.

For this intimate dinner, Chef René has created a special multi-course menu, with each course thoughtfully paired with wines selected by our own sommelier, John Seeger Gilman.
